Tony Atkinson: a
great economist who fundamentally changed both thinking about, and policy
towards, poverty and inequality. But,
more importantly, as all of us who had the honour and privilege of working with
Tony at STICERD know, an exceptional person whose warmth, generosity of spirit
and breadth (and depth) of understanding were without parallel.
